TALK // EVA HOEKE VS RIHANNA

Hi lovely's, I was yesterday morning reading the newspaper, and then read an atricle about Rihanna became furious at the editor of the Dutch magazine, Jackie. So I did resource.


The reason was because Eva Hoeke, the editor of Jackie, used the term 'NIGGABITCH' for an article about Rihanna. After the magazine came in the shop, there was a lot of negative comments, and Eva also received death threats! There was a big fight on Twitter instead, while Eva describes it as a 'leaked joke'. Later, Rihanna also make themselves heard on twitter, she called the magazine a bad representation of the evolution of human rights and ends with 'FUCK YOU', and accuses Eva of racism.
After the error, Eva has decided to resign. "After eight years with my heart and soul to have worked for Jackie, I realize that these errors - although no malicious intent - is a reason for leaving," says Eva Hoeke.
